Dead Man's Clothes: the 3rd Edition

Dead Man's Clothes is a not for profit vintage market organising crew, aspiring to promote some of the finer vintage, independent jewellery makers and local artist talent of Glasgow. The Third edition touches down next Sunday the 19th of June (coincedentally the lovely organiser Jim's birthday!) in the Drake, Glasgow.

Free entry, free stall holder space, and as a double bonus our host will be giving away free cocktails for the first fifty through the door! Trading from twelve onwards with a large collection of vintage clothes, bespoke jewellery, one off lingerie originals, records, wicker craft and local art. It would be just plain rude not to drop along!

Set upstairs in the gorgeous Drake bar, 1 Lynedoch street; they are fully licenced from 12:30 onwards, with food being served downstairs in the bar. Now, we have to remember we're in Glasgow here, so a gorgeous Sunday lunch and cheeky wee pint is perfect if the weather turns sour, but if it's the glorious sunshine we've all been waiting for, the Drake has a gorgeous outdoor area at the back for a sneaky G&T!

The confirmed list of traders include, Jim Dick the prolific multii-media Glasgow artist institution, Pure Brass Neck with the wonderful and often disturbing jewellery originals, Harris tweed with Ruth's conceptual re-makes of silver-smithing vs traditional scottish materials, the lovely (always lovely) Postcards Unlimited selling their lovely vintage wares, Emma Hopkins and her beautiful lingerie, BONNIE BLING and Mhairi's excellent Glasgow choice jewellery, and a surprise bag of independents ranging from wicker-ware to henna tattoos D.J's from twelve onwards.

Perfect excuse for a great day out; ladies & gents can peruse to their hearts content and sip a glass of bubbly while the big buying decisions are made. This truly is a fabulous event and showcases the creative spirit of our very own Glasgow.
