Recoat Gallery exhibits graphic art, illustration, graffiti, street art and photography and sells jewellery, clothing, books and magazines. Showcasing work from emerging and established Scottish artists and designers aswell as trying to bring inspirational artists and designers to Scotland from elsewhere...
Their next exhibition is from Chris MacFarlane, a Glasgow based Graphic Designer, Print-maker and Exhibiting Artist. “A is for Etc” will be a collection of screen prints, collages and sculptures in his first ever Solo Exhibition. The work explores our relationship with type, advertising and signage.
As well as the permanent exhibition, MacFarlane will be producing a collage a day throughout the show that will only be viewable and available to buy that day! The first 10 people to arrive will win a limited edition hand screen-printed tote bag. Bonus.
