Axolotl Gallery – May Exhibition

Axolotl Gallery present a new exhibition of work from Mike Inglis, an artist whose body of work explores the primitive need for belief systems and order in what often seems an incomprehensible and confusing world.

Inglis's influences are diverse, ranging from ancient religions and icons used in voodoo ceremonies and their roman catholic counterparts, to contemporary graffiti icons found on our streets and graphic communication found in our urban environments - the signage we rely on every day to navigate our way around unfamiliar territories.

The exhibition will run from Saturday 8th May to Saturday 29th May.

Events As part of the May Exhibition, artist Mike Inglis will be holding a talk at Axolotl Gallery on Saturday 8th May, from 2.00pm, admission free. To RSVP please e-mail jill@axolotl.co.uk. All welcome.
