The Saatchi Gallery at Ipswich Art School
Opening 9th July 2010 Admission is Free Ipswich Art School is re-opening as a contemporary art gallery, with a ‘first for Ipswich’ exhibition from the world renowned Saatchi Collection. This six-month exhibition provides unique access to pieces of work from seven international artists:
Jon Pylypchuk, Matthew Monahan, Berlinde de Bruyckere, Thomas Housego, Alexandra Bricken, Andy Yoder, Will Ryman. The gallery is FREE to visit and opens Tuesday – Saturday 10am-5pm. It will provide a new venue to bring contemporary art to Ipswich. This exhibition comprises a mixture of multimedia pieces, from small to very large-scale, that challenge their audience and stimulate visitors to explore, enjoy and experience the varied work on display.
