New Handmade Website - WowThankYou

Ely based Mums Tracey Kifford and Georgena Bowdidge set up www.wowthankyou.co.uk after failing to find ‘different’ quality gifts online.

WowThankYou.co.uk promotes the talents of artisans from all over the UK,  many of which are one-off items and encourages the general public to look beyond the shopping centres and buy unique, home-grown, gifts instead. With over 1000 products (many of which are one-offs) from 230 small home-based businesses WowThankYou is providing an online outlet for selected artisans who usually sell only through regional craft fairs.

In this current climate, we should all be encouraged to ‘Buy British’. Why import mass-produced goods when we have UK-based talent who put love and care into every item they make?,” according to Tracey and Georgena, who vow to support these small businesses and the many more who are applying daily to join the WowThankYou website community.

Many items utilise vintage materials and upcycling is actively encouraged and promoted – everything from reclaimed wood and recycled silver to designer keepsakes from cherished fabrics. Often offering personalised and bespoke options, WowThankYou lists gifts ranging from £1.50 to £800.00. Listing gifts for the home and garden, friends and family, as well as your pets, there is something for everyone.
