Jeannine Wheeler has been appointed Director of PR following the successful growth of PR services at leading Cambridge-based agency Mobas.

Jeannine has worked in public relations for the past 25 years, with positions in the US, Russia and the UK. She has worked in the hospitality, academic, small business and FMCG sectors of the industry.

She worked with world-famous Pebble Beach Resorts for 15 years, is the former PR director of The Anglo-American School of Moscow and ran the PR and marketing department of one of Austin, Texas’ busiest home improvement businesses. In the UK, she managed PR for some of the country’s most iconic brands, including Tiger Balm, Full Marks, Meltus, Syndol and footcare giant Scholl.

She is thrilled with her appointment as Director of PR for Mobas PR and is looking forward to not only working with its existing clients – including Vtesse, Elanco, Loch Fyne, Peters Elworthy & Moore, Taylor Vinters and others – but also helping to grow the business into one of the largest in the region.

Hellena Barnes, Account Director and integral to the creation of the PR arm at Mobas, said: “Jeannine is a welcome and inspired asset to Mobas PR. Her experience, understanding and expertise bring dynamic new direction that will enable us to develop the business and provide a high level of service to clients in all sectors – as our clients continue to grow, we grow.

"I am hugely proud that we can now offer Cambridge-based PR and media relations at a local, regional, national and international level. This is testament to the promise of a truly integrated agency.”
