FingerPrint Jewellery, one of the UK’s leading designers of unique bespoke silver jewellery, is now proud to be able to offer an even more personal service to customers in Hertfordshire!

FingerPrint Jewellery produces truly stunning items of silver jewellery; the centrepiece of each is a fingerprint, a hand or foot print, or even a child’s drawing, doodle or scribble, by hand, using pure silver.

Lisa Pugh, the Creative Director, founded the company in 2006.  It was a runaway success, and the products proved very popular with customers. Demand for her jewellery grew very quickly, and Lisa soon realised she needed to pioneer a way for customers to be able to take their own prints at home.

After months of research, a mail-order kit and a new website – www.fingerprint-jewellery.co.uk were launched. Now able to reach an even wider audience, FingerPrint Jewellery now has thousands of customers from all over the world. The company was a finalist in the “Best Business Website” and “Creative Innovation” categories in the Hertfordshire Business Awards 2009, which is something Lisa is immensely proud of.

Bucking the global recession, 2009 was a great year for FingerPrint Jewellery, experiencing 150% growth over the previous year. To meet continued demand, the company began looking for FingerPrint Designers across the UK that could showcase FingerPrint Jewellery’s unique products at local events, shows and private parties, meeting with their customers, and providing a professional print-taking service.

“Each FingerPrint Designer is fully trained to be able to handcraft jewellery to the exacting standards which our customers expect, and are fully supported by the team at the FingerPrint Studio, in Hertfordshire.” Lisa explains, “The Designers own and operate their own FingerPrint Jewellery businesses without the uncertainty usually associated with business start-ups and with all the benefits of being part of a well respected and renowned brand.”

“I am delighted that we are able to offer customers in and around Hertfordshire a more personal service now that Leoni Fowler has completed her extensive training in FingerPrint Jewellery Design.”

Based near Stevenage, Leoni covers an area including parts of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Leoni says, “I first discovered FingerPrint Jewellery whilst searching for the perfect present for my mum. I ordered a Sweetie Bracelet with three different charms, because I couldn’t decide which one I liked the most! When she opened it, I knew I had found the perfect gift for her – the look on her face was sheer delight, it was priceless! The bracelet looked amazing and my mum couldn’t quite believe that she had my fingerprint, a drawing I had done when I was little, and a personal message from me... in my own handwriting!”

With her gift so well received, Leoni made some enquiries about FingerPrint Jewellery’s new business opportunities. “I’ve always been creative, and making jewellery really appealed to me,” Said Leoni, “so when I had a chat with Lisa it was quickly apparent to both of us that I would be a great addition to the design team! I have always wanted to have a career that made full use of my creativity, but somehow those dreams hadn’t become reality, until now! I just love making the jewellery and I still can’t quite believe I now own my own business, making something I absolutely love!”

Leoni is already getting busy in 2010, and is available for group bookings or private appointments.
