Tactile Textiles, Trendy Tableware, Tea Sets and other Tasteful Treats!

Domestic Bliss is a new showcase at Ferrers Gallery in North West Leicestershire, it promises a selection of fabulous, functional and beautiful handmade ideas for the home. With decorative and contemporary ceramics by Rowena Gilbert, hand thrown collections by Rob Bibby and Linda Bloomfield, sumptuous slipware by Josie Walter, precious porcelain by Clare Gage and vivid pieces by Abigail North; Domestic Bliss highlights fresh tableware and attractive pieces that will enhance any room.

Domestic Bliss also highlights a handful of British textile artists working in a variety of techniques, embroidered, structural and stitched. Pieces will range from cushions and heart hangings to illustrative wall pieces on a domestic theme. Participating artists are Cat Rowe, Priscilla Jones, Sally Roberts, Sarah Ford and Lorna Syson.

The show will provide summer visitors with the opportunity to purchase something unique and beautiful for their home, or as a wonderful gift for any occasion. Elegant dinnerware, handmade mugs, striking vases and delicate embroideries of cakes, tea parties and all manner of things to entice the domestic gods and goddesses will be on display.
