There are creative workshops and film screenings for families at QUAD over the Easter holidays.
Creative workshops for families will take place at QUAD on Friday 16th April and on Saturday 17th April. Entitled ‘Focussing On The Future’ the two separate workshops offer participants a chance to create their own journal to document exciting moments in their life and hopes for the future.
The workshop on Friday 16th April will take place from10:00am to 12 noon, and on Saturday 17th April from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. ‘Focussing On The Future’ is suitable for children aged six and above (under 12’s must be accompanied) and the cost is £5.00 children, £5.00 adults, £16 for family of four. Places are limited, and customers are advised to book in advance through QUAD Box Office.
QUAD’s Cine Kids family focused films screenings over Easter are Astro Boy (PG), from Friday 2nd to Thursday 8th April and The Princess And The Frog (U), from Friday 9th – Sunday 18th April.
Set in the futuristic Metro City, Astro Boy is the story of a young robot who uses his powers to become a world famous superhero. The Princess And The Frog is a modern twist on a classic tale; featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. The Princess And The Frog (U) comes from the creators of The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.
Cine Kids Screenings from 2nd April take place daily (times vary) and for Cine Kids Club members, all tickets are £2.50. To become a Cine Kids Club member, an annual fee of £10.00 is payable and covers one family at one address, plus their guests Cine Kids screenings are open to all, but all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
