I am fascinated and intrigued by scientific imagery. From microscopic worlds to satellite photographs of natural and man-made worlds, I see patterns, shapes and textures that occur and repeat. My work is often inspired by its location. By investigating its current or former use, I gain understanding of a site, and use this to inform my ideas. I try to incorporate my interest in science and technology in the work that I make.
Combining light patterns cast by glass with ceramic tactile forms, my pieces are intended not only to decorate space but to engage and intrigue the viewer.
