Steve Williamson has been a professional photographer for over six years, and specialises in portraiture and weddings. His company, SW PHOTOS is based in Derby in the East Midlands. He has a BA Honours Degree in Commercial Photography, as well as a BTEC National Diploma in Photography and Digital Imaging.

Steve uses the very latest professional equipment; Canon 1D mark III, plus back up camera, Canon EOS L series lenses, Bowens Gemini 750 Pro studio kit with vinyl backdrops,
together with an industry standard professional computer, software and photo printer, as well as the latest editions of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign.

Steve’s main focuses as a photographer are weddings and portraiture, so he understands the importance of producing the very best quality in his images, and he believes in capturing the true emotions of your special day. A flexible range of packages to suit your specific needs will be sure to give you exactly what you want.

Although these are the main areas, Steve does cover several other areas of photography including motorsports, events and commercial work. He has gained valuable experience in
portraiture, working regularly with a good friend who is an international fashion model. As a result of this, he offers tailor-made model portfolios, both on location and in his studio.

Originally specialising in motor sports he has covered top-class motorcycle competition, such as the British Supermoto Championship, World Extreme Enduro Championship and the British Enduro Sprint Champonship; photographing for dirt bike magazine 'Enduro Extreme'. A keen enduro racer himself, he has a direct interest in the world of dirt bike racing.

SW PHOTOS unique selling point is incorporating action into different types of photography, like weddings and portraiture. Using motor sport photography skills, Steve predicts the
action and is well prepared, often capturing candid moments that will last a lifetime with the client. Above all else he likes working with people and trying out new ideas different from
the ‘norm’.
