What is Creative Boom Cheltenham?

Creative Boom Cheltenham is an online regional magazine that aims to celebrate, inspire and support the creative industries in and around Cheltenham. It is run and managed by its parent Creative Boom, a national e-zine, in partnership with freelance copywriter Holly Knowlman.

How did Creative Boom Cheltenham come about?

Katy Cowan, founder of Boomerang PR Agency in Cheshire, is the face behind Creative Boom, an online magazine that was launched in July 2009 to support the creative industries throughout the UK.

A recent survey of Creative Boom readers revealed that people wanted local 'hubs' where they could network, share ideas and secure more business in their areas. Responding to these needs, Katy and her team have been developing the main Creative Boom site to include 'Creative Boom Hubs'.

These 'hubs' are regional magazines that include news, events and information about all things creative in different towns and cities of the UK whether that's fashion and design or marketing and film.

On 1st November 2009, Creative Boom Cheltenham was launched.
