Exciting things in the pipeline for Creative Boom

I can't tell you how excited I am today. As many of you know, we've been working really hard behind the scenes on lots of new developments for Creative Boom. All of which we're aiming to launch mid-March. We're even taking a holiday away from our usual work to concentrate on Creative Boom.

One of the big projects we're currently creating is something built completely from scratch and was first dreamed up last August. We had a good think about what you needed the most and that's when we decided to develop Boomio... Something I've mentioned only briefly before but all will be revealed very soon. I'm not saying much at this stage because we want to make sure it's totally spot on before we launch it out there.

Anyway, what's just as exciting is the re-design of our entire Creative Boom network. The national magazine plus all its Hubs will soon be getting a complete makeover. A bespoke design that we really hope you'll love. As a lot of our followers come from the design and art field, it made sense to boost the look of the entire site. We really want you to love dropping by and saying hello.

However, the cherry on top has to be 'Boomtique' -Creative Boom's very own shop, initially selling t-shirts designed and chosen by you. We might well throw in some button badges as well, since so many of you came up with such fantastic designs. The beauty of all this is that we're not only supporting you, we're helping to raise your profiles and inspire creativity.

The whole shop is going to run on the model of design contests. Each month we'll give you a brief and we'll pick out two-four designs of the ones that receive the most votes. The winners will receive free t-shirts initially, cash prizes once we're up and running. We'll then sell the winning designs in our Boomtique shop.

If you'd like to enter our first ever design contest, then check out all the details on our Facebook fan page.

In the meantime, thanks for bearing with us! I can't wait to reveal all these things we've been working hard on. As we're re-designing the entire site, now's a great time to throw us any ideas you might have to add to the magazine. Just email us on the usual info@creativeboom.co.uk. Thanks, Katy
