Welcome to Creative Boom, an online magazine and network community that aims to celebrate, inspire and support the creative industries throughout the UK and the rest of the world.

Launched on the 24th July 2009 by founder and editor Katy Cowan, who also runs Boomerang - a PR agency based in Cheshire - the site is run on a completely voluntary basis and covers everything from music, design, photography and fashion to film, PR, marketing, media and animation.

The magazine - which gets over 600,000 hits per month and around 9,000 unique visitors every day - includes 26 regional 'Creative Boom Hubs', bringing you local news and information about the creative industries on your own doorstep.

Creative Boom's entire ethos is to help freelancers and businesses both large and small to be inspired, raise their profiles, attract new business and effectively cause a creative industry boom across the UK. We even have our own free Directory where you can list yourself for free, so be sure to get in touch.
